eon Aronson began his early musical training playing piano at the age of 7 and later pursued a love for the trumpet which he played for many years.

Prior to establishing himself as a composer, he worked as a freelance pianist working with many of the areas top stars. He also kept busy as a session musician on numerous jingles, records and film scores.

In the early 70's, Leon was hired to be the in-house composer/arranger/producer for one of Montreal's top production shops, Listen! Audio Productions. For 20 years he was kept busy writing music for commercials, corporate videos as well as themes for many tv and radio shows.

During this same period he started a record company and he was very busy writing, arranging and producing for the label's artists. The company enjoyed success with 1 platinum and 2 gold records.

With the start of the 90's, Leon turned his focus to composing for film and tv and set up his own home studio. His first feature was Eddie & The Cruisers 2 on which he was a co-writer. This was followed by On Dangerous Ground and Midnight Man both starring Rob Lowe, Hardball starring Tony Curtis and The Incredible Adventures of Marco Polo starring Oliver Reed.

On the animation side of things, Leon has many children's series playing around the world which he has written the music for. Most noteworthy is the highly successful international hit Caillou.

In 2004 he scored the mini-series The Great Warming which aired on Discovery and was hosted by Alannis Morrissette and Keeanu Reeves.

To this day Leon remains very active in the musical world and in 2012 received his 5th SOCAN award in recognition of International Music For Television.
